Roma forward Bojan Krkic, who is believed to be a target for Liverpool, could move to the Premier League this summer, according to his father.

Reports in Spain earlier this month suggested Roma are trying to convince Barcelona to re-sign Krkic this summer.

Barca have the option to re-sign the 21-year-old for €17million this summer, while they are obliged to re-purchase the forward at the end of next season for €13m as part of the deal that took him to Italy twelve months ago.

Bojan, who cost Roma €12m, struggled for consistency at the Stadio Olimpico this season and found himself left on the bench for most of the campaign.

He was linked with Liverpool prior to his move from Camp Nou, and reports last week suggested the Reds are still showing interest.

With Kenny Dalglish no longer in charge at Anfield, it remains to be seen how strong the interest from Merseyside still is.

But according to Bojan Krkic Perez, his son could be on the move before the start of next season.

And he has also refused to rule out the possibility of his son returning to Barcelona.

“At the moment he is thinking about where he will play next season. That is his priority,” he told Blic.

“He is feeling great at Roma, he is happy there and he would be happy to continue playing for the Italian side.

“But there are other options. He could return to Barcelona.

“He could also move to England or Germany. There are clubs from both of those countries that are interested in my son.

“Which clubs? I can’t talk about names just yet. We will see what happens in the next few days.”

Tottenham have also been linked with the striker.
